Is ‘unboxing’ an event? Yes, yes it is!

I’m delighted to have co-authored the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE 2 BOOK this year with 23 other amazing, global professionals. Actually, ‘delighted’ does not do my feelings justice, I’m ecstatic, delirious, exuberant…..the synonyms go on!

But when I was asked if I’d like to join an unboxing event, I was like, ‘what’? Why would I drive 60 miles just to open a box of books?

It turns out that I actually would drive 60 miles to open a box of books and that’s exactly what me and a group of my fellow authors did, and boy was it fun!

The feeling you get when you see your hard work transformed into a real, tangible asset is amazing and to share that feeling with newly found friends and collaborators makes it all the better (The champagne helped too!)

So here’s my cheer to ‘unboxing ‘, a surprisingly great reason To host an event!
